The pieces are starting to come together, all rooted in the idea of identifying humans more closely with the environment and species that need our custodial attention to preserve their co-existence on earth. Work in progress, slowly building and removing and allowing the clay to harden in a measured way, so much to learn about this medium! I haven’t decided yet if she is a giantess, a miniature or average size. Working in the realm of metaphors wanting to create meaning for myself. She represents a delicate, vulnerable human-plant hybrid for me, deciding what more I will do with her.
